The Aircraft Owners And Pilots' Association (AOPA) recently announced that they would award two student pilots with a $5000 scholarship towards a sport, recreational, or private pilot certificate.
To qualify, you must currently be an AOPA member and an U.S. citizen at least 16 years old.
The deadline is August 19th, 2011. All applicants must apply directly online at the official AOPA website:
http://www.aopa.org/training/articles/2011/110620aopa_launches_two_flight_training_scholarships.html
See site for official rules and information.
Aviation scholarships are always appreciated as the flight training is not cheap. Pilot Informer would like to thank the AOPA and wish everyone the best of luck.
